Three weeks after having my first chemotherapy session I had started to lose my hair. I had decided today was the day to have my hair shaved off and to buy a wig, I was a bit scared I must say.
However, after speaking to Gail at CG Hair & Wigsco and getting advice from her, it was the best thing I have done. The wig was fantastic and it felt natural, which made it easier for the hair to come off.
Thank you very much Gail for making me feel at ease at such a difficult time.
I would highly recommend Gail and the service she provided, fantastic.

Went here to see about wigs a couple of years ago when my alopecia got bad, Gail was so knowledgeable about the products and was able to recommend the right colours and styles for me. I recently went in to have my wig restyled and couldn't be happier with the service I received. Feels so good to have nice hair again thank you! I admit that after my hair started falling out in clumps after my first chemo treatment, I was probably at my lowest point.
I made a call to Gail to help, from the outset she was so welcoming and supportive, she is an experienced professional and puts you at ease through a fairly traumatic time.
I came away feeling a lot more positive with a wig that has seen me through the last 5 months. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gail and her team.

I was diagnosed with Alopecia in October 2013 and by November all my hair had gone. I walked in to see Gail who was ready to help me.
It was a very traumatic experience losing my hair and Gail was so lovely, friendly and professional.
I chose to have a human hair wig that Gail cut and styled for me to look like my own hair before I lost it.
Two years down the line I still go to see Gail who is now a great friend. I love going into the salon to be pampered. Gail and all the staff are very friendly and I always leave the salon looking and feeling great. I would not go anywhere else.

After struggling with my hair and alopecia for a few months I went to see Gail who was so kind and friendly. She showed me several different hair pieces and we decided together which was best for me. It was ordered in the following day and I have been back to see her twice since to match my hair colour with the hair piece. Gail and her hairdressing team are supportive and approachable, they have given me ongoing advice and guidance and have given me my confidence back. I don’t know what I would of done without them.

After being diagnosed with alopecia and losing my hair fast from the moment I spoke to Gail she made feel relaxed and comfortable, we tried on a few wigs in different styles and colours to see which one felt more like me, Gail took her time with me she didn’t rush me, I also didn’t feel pressured into buying.. I did find my perfect new do and have been given back my confidence, a massive thank you to Gail for being so supportive :)
The team are approachable and friendly and I am super grateful for all the help that has been given to me I don’t know what I would of done without them. Highly recommended and a huge Thank you once again :)

Gail fitted, cut and styled my hair system. She was a top level pro and i trusted her opinion because she cares about the work she does. felt at home and we talked about hair systems. i took my own but she has systems available in stock also! i cant knock it one bit the job she did was great, blending was good, ill just say 5+++++ - Jason

I was diagnosed with advance bowl cancer in September 2015. I was told I would need a wig. My daughter found CG Hair and Wigsco on line. Gail was so lovely and sympathetic when I visited with my daughters to have a wig fitted. I purchased two, they looked so natural people did not realise I was wearing one. I have worn them for the last 18 months.
My hair started to grow but too short for me to stop wearing the wigs. Gail suggested Raccoon extensions so at the beginning of March I had them put in. The colour match was incredible, Gail blended the extensions so you can hardly see the join. The extensions are so brilliant, had so many people compliment me.
Feel back to my old self. I am definitely having another lot put in when these need to be removed. I cannot get over how I can straighten or curl the Raccoon extensions Amazing. Thank you so much.

The wig I have is fabulous but as it gets warmer. I knew I was going to find it too hot so Gail came up with the fantastic idea of attaching a toupee by using my hair and extensions--Fantastic, looks so natural & has given me a new confidence so badly needed as have just been made redundant!!!

Love love love my new hair 😍 it’s perfect! I was a bit nervous about getting hair extensions as I had a bad experience in the past.

I've been having raccoon hair extensions for 4 years and my hair has never looked so good since coming to CG hair. Gail has made it her mission to improve the quality of my hair and is always attentive to my needs, friendly and warm. The new salon looks fabulous and has a real boutique feel to it. Can't recommend highly enough.

On being told that my Mum would have chemotherapy, the thought of losing her hair was horrendous for her. As a family we pre-empted the inevitable and bought scarves and caps in preparation, but having a decent wig to wear was paramount. After some research, we found Wigsco. The shop was well laid out and staff provided my Mum with the reassurance that she needed. Everyone has been fantastic in finding her a wig so like her hair that when she wore it, no-one could tell it wasn't actually her hair. As a family we wanted Mum to feel safe and secure in the wig and she does. Thank you for the wonderful work you do with people and for helping my Mum; Victoria.

I walked into the salon and Gail was there so lovely, friendly and professional and she lifted my spirits straight away. I choose to have human hair wig that Gail cuts and styles for me to look like my own hair that I have lost. Six years down the line I still go to see Gail who I now call a great friend of mine. She not only cuts my wigs but washes, blowdries and colours them for me and even will put it up for me for my holidays and the hot weather. I love going into the salon to be pampered. Gail and all her staff are so lovely and very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. I always leave the salon looking and feeling great and nobody knows that I am wearing a wig it is that good. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you Gail for everything you have done for me over the last six years, I really do appreciate it. You are one in a million and I dont know where I would of been If I hadn't of found you. For anyone who is losing their hair to Alopecia or Cancer, I highly reccomend Gail and her team at wigsco. Called in for advice on my frizzy and out of condition wig. They couldn't have been more kind or helpful and made my wig feel like new again. Gail is so experienced in dealing with wigs that i have no hesitation in returning and so pleased to have found her. She didn't mind that i had bought it elsewhere during chemotherapy but should i need to buy another wig, i will be buying it from here.

I visited Gail today at Wigsco and I could not have asked for a better experience, Gail was so lovely, kind and helpful! She had so much time for me and explained everything to me step by step about how to care and look after my new wig that she fitted for me today, since recently being diagnosed with alopecia areata and this gave me so much confidence back! Wigsco and Gail have just been such an amazing find! My friend has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and following an operation has recently started undergoing chemotherapy. Amongst everything else she has to face, she was absolutely devastated about losing her lovely hair. Her mood was however immediately lifted on meeting Gail at Wigsco for the first time. Gail was so caring and sympathetic, and offered my friend so much support and reassurance about finding the perfect wig to resemble her own hairstyle and colour. The outcome was incredible and her new wig is amazing. It is difficult to realise that she is actually wearing a wig and has given her more confidence to face and fight her plight. A huge thank you to Gail from us both for the benefit of her patience and expertise, as well as her ongoing support. We recommend Gail and Wigsco to anyone! Definitely 5 star service.

I've Known Gail and her team for a little over a year now. I visit around once every 8 to 10 weeks and have been on a journey to nurse my hair back to optimum health and condition. The advice has been good for my heart, head and soul -seeing my hair repair itself under Gail’s guidance has been wonderful and I always feel in good hands. I went to CG Hair and Wigsco for a free consultation, thinking I would like to come away with a wig as I have very fine hair I can do very little with. Gail, the owner suggested a Hairpiece would be most suitable for me. We spent a long time talking it all through and I returned for a second visit to have the Hairpiece fitted, coloured and cut to my individual requirements. Gail really took the time to get it just right and wanted me to leave fully satisfied with her service. Gail was very patient and helpful, going above and beyond her duty. I came away with a Hairpiece that exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend CG Hair and Wigsco.
